Event Display FAQ

What will be included in my event display?

At the break of day, expect anywhere between 9 - 55 “yardies” to surreptitiously rendezvous on your lawn of choice. Your yardies-for-a-day will arrange themselves in a pleasing manner around a message board prominently displaying your celebratory message. Sometime in the early evening, the yardies and message board gather together and make their getaway.

Do I need to reserve my event display?

Book and confirm your event display asap . . . like now! The earlier you reserve your event display of choice, the more probable its availability for your celebration. Click the Ordering button to start your reservation.

Of course, we’ll do our utmost to accommodate your last-minute celebrations and other more spontaneous arrivals!! If this is your situation, click the Contact Us button for our phone details!

How much is a yard display?

Xzuberant’s crazy-cool yard displays are individually priced and start at $75 plus pst.

Do you carry gift certificates?

Yes -- for any occasion, for any celebration! We create personalized gift certificates in any denomination, complete with benefactor, reservation and display details. You can order event display gift certificates by completing our online reservation form or by calling us directly.

Is it possible to order a yard display combination that’s different from what’s advertised?

If the combination and number of “yardies” you request are available, we’d be more than pleased to prepare a custom quote on the display you envision.

Event Display Delivery

Where will you deliver yard displays to?

Located in the heart of Vancouver, Xzuberant delivers yard displays to Vancouver and the following suburbs: Richmond, Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Anmore, Belcarra, Burnaby, North Vancouver and West Vancouver. If your area’s not listed, talk to us and we’ll see if we can accommodate your location request.

Is there a delivery charge?

We’re pleased to offer free delivery to the Vancouver region. If your yard display is to be delivered to one of the listed suburbs, please check our Delivery page for the associated delivery fee.

Do you deliver to townhouses, condos or apartment complexes?

Absolutely -- with a few provisos. Please ensure that the celebrant owns the lawn where the display is to be set up. If the yard display is to be set up in a common grass area, you must provide us with written consent from the strata or property management (consent via email is acceptable) .

How about delivering a yard display to a business?

Yes! We currently accept orders for outdoor event displays to business locations (indoor displays available soon). Please provide us with written company permission (consent via email is acceptable) and ensure that the business location has an accessible lawn or grass area away from pedestrian traffic on which the event display may be set up. Event displays ordered to business locations will be available during daylight business hours.

What happens if nobody can be at the location at the scheduled delivery time?

We’re OK with that! We do, however, encourage as much of a visible presence as possible at the event display location so as to deter any potential theft from occurring.

What about taking pictures in amongst the display?

We’re OK with that too! In fact, email us your pix -- complete with your event display details -- and we’ll give you a $10 coupon to use towards your next event display rental!

Event Display Policy

Refunds

We want your celebration to remain just that: a celebration! So, with your successful, joyous celebration as our end goal, we will amiably provide refunds for:

= orders cancelled 36 hours prior to the rental time and date

= orders we must cancel due to severe weather conditions (including frozen ground or icy road conditions) or other conditions we deem dangerous

Regretfully, we cannot provide refunds for the following:

= we receive your cancelled order less than 36 hours prior to the rental time and date

= we are provided with an incorrect delivery address

= we are provided with incorrect information as to an available lawn or grass area on which to set up the event display

= we are unable to set up because of animals, excessive animal waste or other excessive debris on the celebrant’s lawn

= we are unable to set up because security measures make the celebrant’s lawn inaccessible

= the celebrant, homeowner/business owner, property/strata/business management, police or security personnel denies us permission to set up or requests the removal of the event display

Your Safety -- Our Peace of Mind

We know our yardies look fun, safe and harmless; however, they are not toys. We advise you to not compromise safety: do not move; pull up; lean on; tie balloons to; play on or around; run through or around; lawn mow; weed wack or trim around any part of the event display. We cannot be held responsible for damages or injuries as a result of unsafe behaviour . . . INJURIES A SUCCESSFUL CELEBRATION DO NOT MAKE!!

We also ask that you please consider the next celebrant to receive the event display and keep all animals away from the display.

Missing / Damaged / Captive Critters

Please note that we reserve the right to recoup costs for missing, damaged or “captive” (i.e. unreturned) yardies, banners and signs. These costs may be applied to the renter’s credit card after a rental retrieval assessment (Please note that retail replacement costs vary depending on the display item and its replacement availability.)

Reservations

1 Click the Ordering button and complete Xzuberant’s online event display reservation form.

2 Via your preferred method of communication, we’ll provide you with an event display reservation confirmation code. This date- and time-stamped confirmation code will hold your reservation for 24 hours.

At this time, we will also try to answer any questions you may have (about life, love, celebrations, event displays...mostly, we hope, about event displays!).

3 Complete your event display rental payment by phone.

Paying for your Event Display

Xzuberant Entertainment accepts Visa and Mastercard via telephone. Deliveries will be carried out after verification of payment.

1 Once you’ve received your date- and time-stamped confirmation code from us, please call Xzuberant Entertainment at 778-230-1845 to complete your event display rental payment by phone. Remember! Your confirmation code only reserves the event display for 24 hours!

2 Sit back, relax -- you’re done!

Taxes

7% PST will be added to your event display rental.
